What is Advanced Remodeling?+
Advanced Remodeling is a family-owned, licensed WA general contractor specializing in kitchen, bathroom, flooring, interior, and full-home remodels — plus siding, windows, and managed roofing. Founded 1998, based in Mountlake Terrace, serving Marysville down through Snohomish County, across the Eastside, and over to Seattle.
Are you a home inspector?+
No. We are a licensed general contractor, not a home inspector. Our Free Onsite Consultation is a visual walkthrough to scope your remodel and prepare a written line-item estimate — it is not a home inspection, code compliance inspection, or engineering evaluation. What are the limits of a Free Onsite Consultation?+
Consultations are visual and non-invasive. We do not perform technical evaluations requiring specialized licensing — electricians, plumbers, HVAC techs, structural engineers, roof or pest inspectors. A no-cost in-home walkthrough where we listen to what you want, photograph the space, and prepare a written line-item estimate. Book yours here. No obligation.
How long does the consultation take?+
Most in-home consultations run 45 to 90 minutes depending on the scope. The written estimate follows within one to two weeks.
What do I get after the consultation?+
A written, line-item estimate — labor, materials, fixtures, permits, and disposal broken out. Once you approve, we lock the price in a signed contract with a milestone-based draw schedule.
Financing & Contracts
How do you price a remodel?+
Every remodel is priced with a written, line-item estimate — labor, materials, fixtures, permits, and disposal are broken out. Once you approve the estimate we lock the price in a signed contract. No hourly billing, no subscription.
Do you offer financing?+
Yes. We partner with Wisetack (primary) and Hearth (secondary) for monthly home-improvement financing. No project minimum — financing is available on approved credit for jobs of any size. Pre-qualification uses a soft credit check that does not affect your credit score. See our Financing page for full details.
What payment methods do you accept?+
Credit card, debit card, ACH bank transfer, check, cash, and monthly financing (on approved credit) through Wisetack or Hearth. Most large projects follow a milestone-based draw schedule set in your signed contract.
How do change orders work?+
Any change to scope, materials, or finishes is documented in a written change order signed by both parties before that work proceeds. You always know the price before we start.

How fast will you get back to me?+
We respond to every inbound inquiry within one business day. Design consultations are typically scheduled within a week. Larger remodel start dates are set in your signed contract.
Are you licensed and insured?+
Yes. Advanced Remodeling is fully licensed, bonded, and insured in Washington State. Every employee also passes a background check before entering a client's home. Learn more about us.

Yes. Every Advanced Remodeling employee passes a background check before they're allowed in a client's home. Your safety and peace of mind come first.
